END OF DAYS Halloween Party Kansas City Concert reviews
Not what I expected
"I love the END OF DAYS Halloween Party, I want to start by saying. He would probably find it hilarious if he could read aloud a copy of "Moby Dick". I admit, with his stand-up, I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought perhaps the show would be more of that kind of content - talking about his life and lessons learned along the way when I read his book "Paddle Your Own Canoe". I did not expect the whole show to be so political. I identify as very liberal and progressive, but my husband is very much right wing conservative. As a gift for my husband's birthday, I bought the tickets. My husband got up and left about 20 minutes into the show. Had I any thought that the performance might be in any way political, I would still have gone, but certainly wouldn't have made it part of my husband's birthday celebration. To say the least, it made for a pretty contentious ride home."
